Sandi McBride and I found sisterhood in our love of the same music and movies. Yesterday she posted about her love of Mel Brooks movies and Madelynn Kahn singing "I'm Tired" in "Blazing Saddles". I've enjoyed that movie several times so I went looking for a video of the song on trusty old YouTube. Success! Enjoy!!!

Madelynn Kahn--I hadn't thought about her in some time. Such a fabulous, funny actress!
I have listened to this about 10 times, so bout time I left a comment, sister girl...I LOVE IT...and now I feel a gazillion times better than I did before...what will the world do without Ms Kahn and how did it survive without the genius of Mr. Brooks!

Sandi, I know how you feel. When I find something that holds my attention, say Michael Buble's Everything, I tend to watch it over and over again too. ;) I guess I owe a vote of thanks to the fine young man who introduced me to Mr Brooks' movies, Mr. Harry Whiting.
