But, I do really enjoy crocheting. My first project was a scarf but those aren't all that useful in SA. Something more interesting must lurk around the corner, although I know you've enjoyed the census job. You've also developed your skills and made yourself more "marketable." I don't really like that word, since it relegates people to a similar category as cheese or software or toys, but I hope you catch my drift. :)

I'll remember that movie when it comes out. I like "kid's" movies. Last night we saw WAL-E for the first time. Loved it, but wished we were seeing it on the big screen.Sanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18245301334922883500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31603762.post-58960999317491051472010-06-22T08:29:23.542-05:002010-06-22T08:29:23.542-05:00Sorry to hear of your mom's health. I've done many sweaters, scarves, socks, gloves and baby sweaters and matching hats and booties. If you get good enough to give some projects as gifts, tell the people to hand wash and not throw them in the machine. I neglected to do so and sweaters I've knitted for my niece and nephew that took months to knit took only a few minutes in the wash machine to destroy.

A girl who was a Girl Scout leader taught all us girls at the office where we worked. It was at lunchtime in the ladies room which had a lounge in it and all of us, probably at least six to eight of us, were all there busily learning fancy stitches as well as simple ones. She taught us how to read the patterns in the many books we all bought. That was a long time ago, but I still remember how fun it was for all of us.Buffyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10480939723373251212noreply@blogger.com
