Students need practice staying dedicated to anything and the fact that yours made the effort is testimony to their regard for you as a teacher. I guess I need to spend a bit of time checking out Daybook. It sounds like something I'd be interested in.

Peace.Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09527606943179561117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31603762.post-67455335315134246242007-07-25T12:49:00.000-05:002007-07-25T12:49:00.000-05:00Lee: My first blog-adventure started back in May 2...Lee: My first blog-adventure started back in May 2005. I think Arden's Quadberry was first, followed quickly by a collaboration (Breakfast Cupcake) I started with my students at NIT. In the latter, I was hoping for interesting intergenerational dialogues, some of which happened, but it ultimately faded to the Astronomer of Love's ongoing love woes, a Goth's hymns to H.I.M., and my meditations on my own inconsequential obsessions. Quadberry was a place for the fiction I was writing at the time; Murat11 eventually became my blog of choice, because I like the black background and the way different colors play off it. DayBook started around the time of my attending Reconciliation: I meant it to be a quieter place, simple, with (hopefully) less folderol: more straightforward and from the heart. Less to none of my usual nonsense. For a writer, blogging is a quick fix, as long as the other writing gets done, too.

Peace.murat11https://www.blogger.com/profile/00663364407992075130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31603762.post-70477517283388657042007-07-25T07:23:00.000-05:002007-07-25T07:23:00.000-05:00Thanks JS & Murat! What do you guys think of the idea of writing something about where the year of blogging has taken you?

Peace!Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09527606943179561117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31603762.post-55966683311628862742007-07-25T07:15:00.000-05:002007-07-25T07:15:00.000-05:00Happy blogaversary!Happy blogaversary!jsdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02806281216001406716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31603762.post-55526799030705258382007-07-24T18:00:00.000-05:002007-07-24T18:00:00.000-05:00Congratulations, Lee.
