It Was Just So Pretty!

Click to Mix and Solve

This is a puzzle that I sent to my Mom. It was so pretty I had to share it with her. And you too. My Mom, sister, and I used to do puzzles on card tables set up in the living room. Of course we trained the cat not to get on the table and play with the pieces. The cat's name was Sammy. Sadly, I don't have any digital images of old Sam. He was a wonderful Siamese and lived to the ripe old age of 17. If my dad scans his print of Sammy sleeping with the "bye low baby" doll that Granny gave my sister, I'll see if I can't get a copy and publish it. In the meantime, Enjoy!

Brilliant, Lee

Thanks David! Puzzles and games are great mental exercise and I find I need them more and more as I get older.

That IS a pretty puzzle, Lee.

I like puzzles--picture, crossword, you name it. You're right. They do help keep the synapses firing against the advance of old(er) age.

Glad you like it, San. Puzzles are a fun way to not age more rapidly than necessary. How are you at scrabble?

Scrabble? Pretty good, if I do say so. Of course, it depends on my worthy opponents.

Ok, so now I want to know if there is a way to play scrabble by email or computer game between friends at different locations. If there is maybe we could play a game?

That is pretty! I just shot over to try it. I really enjoy the Jigzone puzzles.

Hi Dragonstar! Thanks for shooting over. You sound like a SciFi/Fantasy lover too. :) Welcome!

Jigzone is good isn't it? I send the occasional puzzle to my mom as a puzzle ecard and she is able to work them.
